Epg update for Croatian channels

[rytecAT_Basic] only 2 days

Hi Willy,

since some days it seems, that the Austrian EPG Data is only available for the next 2 days in the rytec Files. Now I wanted to ask, if there is some failure in the 'graber' or if the sites where data is collected is not delivering more data any more?

Strange is, that only for ATV there was epg data for next 5 days in my receiver yesterday, but e.g. ORF1 ORF2 ATVII etc. only till monday.

 

Thank you for your great work, I would be lost without it.

Pluto TV EPG - Import EPG more than once a day

Hello,

 

Pluto TV generate an EPG each 6 or 7 hours, but this one contains only the EPG for the next 10 hours, so we have to refresh it 2 or 3 times a day.

 

So I'd like to execute EPG Importer with a command line, but only for this pluto tv source that is outside of rytec sources. I want to respect rytec rules, so execution once a day for Rytec sources.

 

I can't find the command line to execute.

 

Is anybody can help please?

EPG of the RT Doc HD seems to be ahead of schedule

Hello everyone

 

I'm using epgimporter with the latest OpenATV 6.4

There is an issue wih the EPG of the channel RT Doc HD (ref 1:0:19:7D2:22C4:13E:820000:0:0:0: (RT Doc HD)) which I receive by Hotbird 13° East. The epg seems to be 3 hours ahaed of the schedule. I checked https://rtd.rt.com/schedule/ as reference.

 

As sources for the epgimporter I'm using:

 

Rytec General xmltv (News Channels, AFN und Miscellaneous)
Rytec Deutschland.Oesterreich/Switzerland XML.TV(Deutschland, Oesterreich, Switzeland)

 

I tried to delete epg data and chose other sources like Russian XMLTV Hotbird 13° but then I didn't got any EPG data at all for the channel.

 

There is a topic in this forum from the Year 2015 with the same question: https://rytec1.rssing.com/chan-13775567/article849-live.html

Unfortunately there wasn't a solution.

 

So I wonder if there is something I can do about.

[Canada] Love Nature

Is it possible to add Love Nature Canada to EPG grabs. The EPG is available here:

In Europe we are currently in UTC +2 an Toronto in UTC-4, so we have 6 hours of lag. At this time Love Nature CA broadcast "Kesi turns a corner" and is corresponding to the programs decribed in the below url.

Multiple configurations for Webgrab+Plus

If you dont know what Webgrab+Plus is this post is probably not for you.

On the other hande, If you're generating XMLTV files from multiple sources this tool might be of help.

 

Like many others I want to have EPG on my satellite receiver and WebGrab+Plus seemed like great tool.
Since I'm also lazy I don't want to do all the hard work of channel mapping, editing configurations, etc.. over and over again.
Modifying/maintaining one "grab" configuration is not that much of a deal, but problems rise when you have multiple configurations to run.

Constantly copy/pasting site keys, updating inis & xmls, checking paths. Unacceptable.
What I also learned was that many others have same problems.

So I decided to create (hopefully) simple tool to do all the heavy lifting for me and other people with same problems.
Minimum requirements are Windows with .NET 4.6.2 or greater installed. Other OS not supported.
Application is open sourced and available at

 

https://github.com/shaxxx/EPGUtils/releases

 

While app is simple to use you'll probably have hard time figuring out what's what, and what it does without some kind of tutorial, manual.

I'll try to create something when times allows me.

Channels with AC3 Audio Track + Transcoding = No Audio

When i transcode channel with ac3 audio track (2.0 or 5.1 does not matter) i got no audio. Mpeg works without problem. Can anyone help  me?

I have a weird problem.

Suddenly, the rytec.sources.xml disappeared from /etc/epgimport folder (I guess Jedimaker plugin has something to do with that).

My question is how to re-download it?

I happened to notice that some channels in the HD+ package show Polish EPG due for me unknown reasons.

Any reason why this might have happened?

Help For Türksat Epg File (.ini)

First of all, hello everyone. Thank you for solving many of my problems before this. I love the family here.

 

I realized that I lost the türksat cable ini file that I used today. It doesn't work on my old file. When I looked at the webgrab website, I saw that the current türksatkablo was encrypted. Unfortunately, since I live in Turkey, donations are not made via paypal. That's why I can't download the current türksatkablo.ini file from the webgrab website. Could you please share the updated ini file for Türksatkablo? It is very important to me. You can also throw it privately if you wish. Best regards...

for sone time now the grabber fails on yes.co.il

 

I am using the siteini from 2017.

 

this is the error from log:

EPG time 2 hours offset

On my VU Ultimo 4K with Openpli 8.0 I've been experimenting with iptv. Somehow I just can't get the epg time correct. The epg keeps showing me program information from 2 hours earlier. (Yes, I did check my time and zone settings, tried transponder and internet time). The info from my provider is correct because on other devices the epg gives the correct information. I've seen many people having the same problem on forums using enigma2 devices but no one seems to have a solution. I hope someone here has one.

EPGImport latest changes: explanation

Here are a few explanation about the latest changes in EPGImport:
 
For IPTV:
 
You now need to match the service reference between the userbouquet and the channels.xml file.
So if your IPTV channel are properly added using the #SERVICE 4097:.... now in the channels.xml this MUST also be 4097!
 
 
LastUpdate.txt:
 
We have faced several times the following problem, Doglover/Rytec can no longer upload newest file to EPG mirror servers but servers still distribute obsolete EPG data files to client. Result was no EPG even if data was downloaded because data where obsolete.
 
To prevent this it was decide in accordance with Rytec/Doglover to add a control file:  LastUpdate.txt, this file must only be set with the last update date when all the files are properly uploaded to it. (date format is YYYY-mm-dd)
So if we have again a server in this bad state it will be rejected by the checkValidServer.
 
 
But people that define there own sources.xml file that point to there own server can decide not to use this check (LastUpdate.log) by adding the attribute  nocheck="1"
 
example: <source type="gen_xmltv" nocheck="1" channels="http://epg.in.ua/epg...annels.xml.gz">
 
 
Be careful:
First implementation uses LastUpdate.log but a mirror was unable to provide .log file so we need to change to LastUpdate.txt
 
 
IPTV or custom sources.xml: file custom.channels.xml
 
When defining sources.xml file it was mandatory to define again all the servers URL.
 
So for people that use IPTV and create there own sources.xml file and also channels.xml file this create a double donwload from EPG data mirror.
 
To avoid this an ease the creation of personal .channels.xml files it is now possible to just create one file:
 
custom.channels.xml
 
You include in this file all you self created service reference (the same as in your bouquets files).
Just place this file into /etc/epgimport/ folder, it will be readed and processed for every downloaded EPG data file.
 
 No more case sensitive for channel id into channels.xml file:
 
To ease maintainer life Doglove/Rytec it has been decided to have the channel id=" "  no more case sensitive.
 
So TF1.fr tf1.fr Tf1.fr will now be considered as the same channel for EPG data sources.

[Germany-Austria-Switzerland] ORF epg data missing

Hi Willy,

 

it seems that ORF1, ORF2 and ORF3 epg data is not available for the usual number of days. Till last week ORF epg data was available 6 days in ahead - like for all other stations. Since few days the data is only for next 2 days available.

I have checked rytecxmltvGermany.gz file and all orf tags are incuded in xml file, but ORF program info is only for next 2 days in the file. So it seems it's no client side problem.
