When you import more than one language there could be a problem on channels with multiple languages.

I thought the last imported source would overwrite an import on the same reference ID from a previous imported source.

So I created an own sources and channels file and added them to /etc/epgimport

The sources file contains the sources I want to import after normal import in the sequence I want.

The channels file contains single channels which I want to add a certain language EPG to, f.e. if the language file does not have EPG for that reference ID.

In the settings of the plugin the sources appear at the end of all other sources (probably because the name begins with X? Is this right?).

Still I notice the problem with different EPG (from different languages) in some programs, but only when EPG times are not the same.

If f.e. in Norwegian a program begins at 13:25, but the dutch file says 13:30 both are displayed in the EPG at the end.

(One of them is wrong, but if a website is showing them wrong then there is nothing to do about that. Besides maybe changing to another website to grab from, but the same problem can occur any time again.)

If a program is in both languages at the same time, then the first imported one is overwritten.

So, am I right about this?

Is there a way to delete EPG for just one reference ID before importing another language?

As an example: Disney Junior on Thor 5 (0.8°W), 11325 H 24500 7/8

This channel is twice present on this transponder. Both with multiple languages.

One in MPEG2 (1:0:1:608:19:46:E080000:0:0:0:) and one in MPEG4 (1:0:16:1C11:19:46:E080000:0:0:0:)

For the one in MPEG2 has Scandinavian and Dutch EPG, the one in MPEG4 has no EPG at all (so you can also add it).

I import dutch after all other languages and after that my own channels file which adds EPG to the MPEG4 Disney Junior.

The MPEG4 Disney Junior shows only Dutch and the MPEG2 Disney Junior has also some (wrong) entries in (I guess) Finnish.

First image is only dutch and in the second image there are also entries at 13:25, 13:50, 14:15, 14:40, 15:05, 15:25 and 16:20

By the way there aren't any programms starting at those times, so maybe in this case the Finnish EPG is just wrong and need to be replaced, but this problem could always occur with multiple imports.

Note: Title should be 'Multiple language EPG and how to remove one entry?', but I can't change it anymore.

On my virgin cable channels, i use EPG virgin importer to gather all my EPG for my virgin channels. Most of them are correct.

There are a few which are incorrect because they contradict to what the equivelent sky channel says. FOr example on BT sport 3 HD

Some of the listings are documentaries that are not shown on this channel. Eg Hitler's Holocaust. That does not come on BT sport HD 3

Hi guys, I have a strange issue that I'm hoping someone may know the answer to. I have recently started using the EPGImport plugin, which is fantastic, on my old DM800HD running OpenPli 3.0, having switched from CrossEPG.

The plugin works great for the most part. However, I would like to use the 'Start Import After Booting Up' feature, but it's causing a strange problem. It seems to be wiping out the existing manually imported Rytec UKXMLTV EPG full descriptions. My channel program titles are still there, but their descriptions have disappeared! Another manual import resolves this and I have titles and descriptions again, but that kind of negates the point of the import at boot feature. I was hoping someone might know what could be causing this?

for some reason epg is hasn't dowloaded any epg for UK and Adult. Last good epg is showing programs to Thursday 9th March, so seems like the problem happend over the weekend.

I've been using LatinMunic for Spain and it is good, also my filtered Portugal seem normal.

the international (English speaking) programs from the Chinese broadcaster CCTV have changed their names:

• CCTV9 is now called CGTN Documentary (current XMLTV channel id: CCTV9.uk)
• CCTV News is now simply called CGTN (current XMLTV channel id: CCTVNews.nws)

I'm not sure if you wish to change the channel ids according to their new names, so I'm just going to make my request with the current channel ids.

Could you please add the following service references for 13.0E?

Due to problems with one of the mirrors, an error became apparent.

This error is being resolved now with a few lines of code.

It is recommended that you update your version of XMLTVimport.

According to postings left and right, M7 has added Fishing & Hunting on 23.5E

And indeed the channel with ref: 1:0:16:314:C94:3:EB0000:0:0:0: opens with a TVV smartcard.

According to Kingofsat this is an Hungarian channel.

Hi Willy,

I was cleaning up the changed Czech/Slovak channels on 23.5 and noticed that a lot is missing or wrong.

I also checked the same channels in Czech or Slovak language on other satellites (at least the one I can receive, 16E, 4.8E and 0.8/1.0W).

I checked the EPG with erasing all EPG and then importing Rytec Slovak/Czech XMLT only.

It is quite a list, I guess it's easier if I send you the Excel file I used.

I hope it's not too much and that everything is clear, otherwise just ask.

Seit dem 21.03 gibt es anscheinend ein Problem mit dem Rytec EPG auf Android in verbindung mit IPTV Simple Client.

Das Problem ist sowohl in Version 16.1, 17.0, 17.1 von KODI.

Es ist folgendermassen:

Nach import des EPG wird bei sehr vielen Kanälen angezeigt, dass die Programm Dauer 414025 Stunden geht. Und der Eintrag der betreffenden Sendung bleib immer stehen. Gehe ich auf den Programguide, steht bei dem Eintrag ein Datum, Mittwoch 31. Dez. 1969!!!

Die Zeit vom Gerät stimmt jedoch, auch in KODI!

Wenn ich das XML File editiere, steht nichts dergleichen drin was auf das Datum hindeuten würde. Wenn ich jedoch den entsprechenden Eintrag z.B. bei ZDF lösche funktioniert es beim ZDF wieder. Das Problem ist nur es sind zum einen sehr viele Einträge die gelöscht werden müssten und zum anderen ist es beim neuen File dann wieder gleich mit dem Problem.

Ich weiss echt nicht mehr weiter und wäre um jede Hilfe sehr sehr froh!
