1- Canalsat caribbean has changed completely their channel references and added new channels last week.
So, could you modify and add new channels in the xml file?
I attached a dreamboxedit file named canalsatcaraibes.rar.
2- Could it be possible to create a Rytec source for NUMERICABLE outremer?

Hi, i have a vu+solo with a fresh image from today. Then i run on telnet
opkg update opkg upgrade enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport opkg upgrade enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport-rytec
After a reboot i configure the sources (rytec italy) but when i try to start the import manually
[EPGImport] Error at start: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'endswith'
Why? What i missed?
On my solo2 working well with the same commands/configuration.

On a lot of channels programs are listed twive.
For example
23:25 some movie
23:30 some movie
So the movie is listed twice on same channel with a time difference often around 5 minutes.
Is this a setting or does my rytec import goes wrong somewhere....

Hi, I have been using OpenPli images for the last few years to receive mainly SKYUK/Freesat, I have always used CrossEPG and OpenTV (direct from transponder) EPG.
I have changed receiver to a VuSolo2 and want to move to OpenPli lattest image, I am using Open Pli 3 currently, but I have read that CrossEPG and OpenPli 4 have issues and I am better to move to Rytec XMLTV, my only doubt with this is that Rytec XMLTV grabs the EPG infro from Rytec servers whereas with CrossEPG I can grab that same info from the satellite transponder which for my scenario seems a better proposition.
Is there any way to grab EPG info from OpenTV satellite transponder with Ryect XMLTV ?
Any other option to get the EPG direct from satellite for SKYUK?

Hello mates. I've read the faq's of xmltv import, but I still have a question. When we select the sources as rytec.xmltv.france, rytec.germany.xmltv, and the end of the list we find rytec.dat files. We have to select only xmltv files? .dat files? both?? I have some problems to keep my epg fresh and I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I have epg fresh plugin and epg import plugin, and I have the epg.dat in an external hdd that I select by /media/usb. But now I have done an epg import and the epg.dat in my hdd is only 89kb. Would I have to make a box reboot? My box is a vu+ zero. Thanks in advance.

XMLTVImport is correctly downloading events in epg_new.dat files (latest patch to XMLTVConfig.py is applied) .. but when processing i get green screen and crash.
Here is the log, what's wrong?
