EPGimport

I have been running the VTI team image smoothly for a number of years on my VU+ Uno STB

 

I thought I'd like to try the OpenPL so I downloaded and installed the current version 4

 

The problem I have is that there is no EPGimport in the plugin extensions. I looked at at the Wiki where it describes  how to imstal and configure this plugin

 

Well I already knew all that stuff because it works a treat on VTI but on OpenPLI  you can't even instal it because it's not present in enigma2 on my box

 

I scanned the box on Filezilla and all I could find was EPGimportfilter which did nothing because the importer itself wasn't there,

 

I reflashed the OpenPLI image and started all over again setting up my motorised dish..

 

Two hours later the result was the same as before

 

I installed the Crossepg but that was useless and I couldn't remove it from the plugin list

I couldn.t remove the EPGimportfilter either

 

I've wasted too much time on this image. I going back to VTI

EPG URL Help

Good afternoon all,

 

I'm wondering if somebody could help me with regards to a URL or as to how I can use the Ryetc XMLTV EPG?

 

What I'm looking for ideally is just the EPG URL (if that is possible) after that I can kind of put together a system for obtaining the channels and formatting to how I'd like to use it etc.

 

If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great, I'm looking for UK channels.

Rytec Italy: only 5602 events imported

Hi

Today I have this problem.

After an unproperly reboot I have my epg list empty and I've tried to download manually epg again.

The problem is that rytec Italy now import only 5602 events and at the end I have a lot of channels with epg missing.

Why that?

doglover, maybe you could change channel-id for these channels for consistency? One doesn't have extentions, other doesn't contain +2. Thanks.

Epgimport not working

I have vuplus zero with openpli 4, I installed xmltvimport but when I made a download it will charge only 673 events but no epg is charged. The source is rytec Italy. Something goes wrong. Already tried to uninstall and install the plugin. Here there is a log. Somebody can help please?

EPG problem on Mag device.

Hi, I have a problem with mag device. (and app perfect player or other)

 

Epg not show on all sky cinema channel and Rai1, rai2, rai3 channel.

 

I use a rytec source.

 

Why? How I an do fix this problem?

Creating custom rytec xml with web grab

Hi, I have been exporting my epg from one enigma 2 receiver using Web grab plus and open webif, I then created the corresponding channel.xml and the epg xml file created by webgrab+, I then created the rytec file and placed it into the crossepg providers folder with the correct links to the files and mapped the channels in the channel xml but for some reason the import hangs on loading, I have test on 2 recivers and hangs on both, I want to export the epg from one to the other because one receiver downloads my operators epg in he preferred language properly but the other doesnt and shows it in a different language(default), I want to import the epg from one receiver onto the other as both receivers have cross epg. I would appreciate some help on the correct web grabber xml settings for the rytec import to work or any other setting that could be wrong.

New channels on French BIS

Hi, it seems that some channels changed for this provider.

 

 

 

En fait, les chaines FX et POLAR de Bis tv, ont ete remplacées par PARAMOUT Channel, et CRIME DISTRICT sur les mêmes fréquences...tout est bon sauf l'EPG des nouvelles chaines qui affiche le programme des anciennes chaines...

 

FX and Polar where replaced by Paramount Channel and Crime District but actually the EPG is still showing the old channels.

Could you check that please.

BIS.tv changes

Hi Doglover,

 

French BIS.tv provider changes the Cinema Channels in its offers (available on Hotbird 13°E and Eutelsat 5A 5°W).

 

So:  

Cine FX  becomes  Paramount Channel

Polar becomes Crime District

 

So no more grab needed for those 2 channels since they disappeared.

 

I guess that they reuse the same ID but here they are:

 

Paramount Channel (former Cine FX):

1_0_1_1C8_26AC_13F_820000_0_0_0

1_0_1_D6_4EE8_55F_DDE0000_0_0_0

 

Crime District  (former Polar):

1_0_1_1C9_26AC_13F_820000_0_0_0

Lots of changes and missing EPG

Hi Willy,

 

I was cleaning up the changed Czech/Slovak channels on 23.5 and noticed that a lot is missing or wrong.

I also checked the same channels in Czech or Slovak language on other satellites (at least the one I can receive, 16E, 4.8E and 0.8/1.0W).

I checked the EPG with erasing all EPG and then importing Rytec Slovak/Czech XMLT only.

It is quite a list, I guess it's easier if I send you the Excel file I used.

I hope it's not too much and that everything is clear, otherwise just ask.
